Osama Bin Laden Compound in Google Earth


Google Maps and Google Earth list 3 potential finds for where Osama Bin Ladens supposed compound was/is. While some humorous reviews have been added to Google Places, it's been pointed out the most referenced location doesn't match media descriptions of it being at the end of a dirt road.
The most likely location has been circled in the above image.

Japan after earthquake visuals, now in Google Earth


Google LatLong: New imagery of Japan after the earthquake

3 weeks after (or into) the worst disaster the world has witnessed, the Japan Earthquake and tsunami, Google Earth imagery has now been updated.

You can see horribly dramatic areas of destruction where cities once were. I'll be updating this post with pictures as soon as I explore a bit.. The destruction is beyond imagination. You can jump into the update with this KML file
