Lindsay Lohan Loves Rehab

Lindsay Lohan's mum has revealed that when her daughter leaves rehab later this month, she will be enrolling in the treatment centre's extended care programme.

 

Dina Lohan told People yesterday that Lindsay was "doing great" but that she would continue to seek treatment following her stay at Promises.

 

"I talk to her every day," says Dina. "She's going to do Promises' extended care programme."

 

According to the centre, the programme includes a 12-step program and group therapy, and is designed to help people "make the transition from residential alcohol or drug rehab treatment back into their community."

 

Dina also added that Lindsay will be celebrating her 21st birthday on July 2 with her family, although she did not reveal where the celebrations will take place.

Maybe Lindsay is serious about her recovery this time round!

Britney finds romance at rehab!

Britney Spears has found new love in the arms of rehab mate, musician Howie Day.

It seems that Britney Spears' month long rehabilitation stint has proved fruitful, for the singer has supposedly discovered love once again.

Britney met musician Howie Day at Malibu's Promises centre where she was being treated for alcoholism and alleged post-partum depression.

The 'Toxic' singer and Day dined out at Hollywood's The Bridge restaurant and then visited night club Teddy's, where they partied on April 28.

Day has a history of indulging in verbal and physical altercations while under the influence of alcohol.

In 2004 he was detained, charged and fined over an incident where he locked a fan in the bathroom of his tour bus and destroyed the mobile phone of another. In December 2005, Day was sentenced a year's probation after verbally abusing a flight crew while under alcohol abuse and sleeping pills.
