Survival of the poor folks 2011 is underway as the Morganza Floodway has been opened. This will result in the flooding of thousands of homes in Bayou communities, and some kind of quasi- FEMA state. This action supposedly protects the commercial interests and infrastructure of larger cities while progressing the region into the NAVY vision of the future.




"The water will come out of here pretty quickly," he says. "You don't want to scour the backside of this structure. From an environmental perspective, obviously there are lots of bear and other kinds of wildlife. And we want to make sure they have the opportunity to get to higher ground. And last but most importantly, we want to make sure folks have the understanding that water's coming their way and they need to evacuate."

In Butte La Rose "People are trying to move out, move their gear out of their homes and camps and save as much as they can," he says. "The sheriff hasn't announced a mandatory evacuation yet, but as soon as the water rises, they will announce it."

FEMA officials will announce at 5 p.m. CDT Monday whether they will go ahead with a plan to blow a hole in a Mississippi river levee to relieve flood pressure and save the town of Cairo, Illinois. (( But, more likely to trigger the New Madrid Fault NLE2011 Earthquake, and empower FEMA Commanders. Do you know how HEAVY water is!!?))



The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers said in a twitter message that Major General Michael Walsh would make the announcement whether to blow up the levee, as the Ohio river, swollen by overnight rains, continued to rise to dangerously high record levels.

UPDATE: The government said on Monday it will go ahead with a controversial plan to blow up the levee.

The actual detonation of the protective embankment at Birds Point-New Madrid could come within the next three hours.

Corps officials said the blast would occur between 9 p.m. and midnight local time Monday evening. Two smaller blasts at the southern end of the floodway would follow to let water drain back out.
