Splitsville for Hurley-Nayar
Reacting to the reports that she cheated on her hubby with cricket star Shane Warne, Liz Hurley has revealed that she had separated from her Indian tycoon husband Arun Nayar "a few months ago".A Sunday tabloid published pictures of the model and sportsman sharing a series of steamy clinches and claimed Hurley had spent two nights with the womanising Australian, 41, in his London hotel suite this week.
"Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this," the Daily Mail quoted Liz as tweeting.
But she didn't make any reference to her relationship with Warne - who she has been exchanging flirty tweets with since the summer - or spell out exactly when she split from Nayar.
The News of the World claims to have captured on video the pair embracing and kissing outside restaurant Sake No Hana earlier this week.
"They were so passionate they looked like honeymooners. It was electric," a source is quoted in the paper today as saying.
The paper said: "Hurley and Warne roared with laughter and chatted like old friends during the lively meal in a first-floor room. And at 1am they were spotted going down the escalator to the lobby area.
"While they waited for their coats to be brought to them Hurley reportedly pulled Warne towards her into a darkened doorway, cupped his face with her hands and leaned in to lock lips.
"After releasing from their clinch they gazed into each other's eyes and smiled adoringly," the paper reported.
They were also said to have flirted again in front of Liz's ex fiance Hugh Grant during the meal on Wednesday night.
Hurley and Warne were reportedly spotted exchanging more lingering kisses after popping out of the cricketer's luxury 1,750 pound-a-night suite at the Bentley Hotel in South Kensington - less than one mile from Hurley's London home.
On their second night together, they were locked away in the same suite for more than 11 hours, the paper said. They were also seen smooching and kissing again during a meal on Thursday at San Lorenzo in Chelsea.
A witness told the paper, "They looked completely smitten and blissfully happy together."

Elizabeth Hurley denies break up with hubby
Hollywood actress Elizabeth Hurley aka Liz Hurley has rebuffed rumours that her marriage is on the rocks, and branded them 'absolute nonsense'.The Bedazzled actress went on to say that she was blessed with an amazing husband, and that her married life was as smooth as that of any normal couple.
Liz, who launched her latest business venture, a beachwear boutique in a discount shopping center, even said that her husband had been very supportive of her work, and had never refrained from lending her a helping hand.
"It's absolute nonsense that we're getting divorced. Arun has been amazing helping us get the new shop together. He's been in charge of all the geek stuff like stock-keeping systems. He's been involved with the business from day one,” the Telegraph quoted her as telling The Evening Standard.
"We're working like dogs and always have done. I've yet to meet a successful business person who lounges around and I've learnt from their example,” Liz added. Meanwhile, Liz is busy promoting her swimwear collection.

How Liz Hurley fell in love with Arun
Newlywed Elizabeth Hurley has opened up about how she met, and fell in love with hubby Arun Nayar, the man she now lovingly calls 'Sugar Plum' and 'Puppy'.
In an interview with ES magazine, Hurley revealed that the two met by at a dinner hosted by mutual pal Alex Tomei. She also admits that she was a bit ‘shocked’ when Tomei told her that Nayar was half-Indian and half-German.
"When Alex Tomei first came to pick me up, I said, 'Who is this guy we are having dinner with?' He said, ' He's half-Indian and half-German,' and I thought, 'What a shocking combo!' But I quickly revised my opinion," the Daily Mail quoted her, as saying.
As to what it was about Nayar that made Liz revise her opinion so quickly, well that would be the fact that he made her feel 'very comfortable'.
"There was something about him that made me feel very comfortable," she revealed.
It was only after their second meeting, a meal at Le Caprice, that Nayar took for her number, and asked her out on a date.
"I was a bit embarrassed, as I was 36 and it felt bizarre going on a date. But I was pleased he asked me," Hurley said.
And though they might seem poles apart on the surface, the 'Bedazzled' star insists that they have a lot more in common that what people think.
"The weird thing is we are very, very similar. I very much like his mother. We are both close to our families and both have very loyal friends whom we adore," she said.
Hurley, basking in the limelight of being a newlywed for the first time, admits that she knows that life will not always seem hunky-dory, and insists that she’s ready to meet any problems head on.
"I am not naive enough to think that because something is rosy today, it won't be bleak tomorrow. My life has always been massive ups and massive downs. But because I am so used to it, I feel anaesthetised against past bad times. I spend zero time thinking about them," she said.
Liz and Arun tied the knot this year with a wedding in the UK on March 3, followed by traditional Hindu ceremonies in India on March 9.

Elizabeth Hurley-Arun get married
British beauty Elizabeth Hurley was so overcome with emotion when she wed her Indian born beau Arun Nayar that she cried the whole day.
The 'Bedazzled' star gave celeb watchers a surprise when she married Nayar on March 2 – a day before the date printed on the wedding cards – in a private ceremony with just two witnesses.
But that still didn't stop the former Estee Lauder model from tearing-up on March 3, the day she tied the knot with Nayar in front of family and friends at Sudeley Castle in the UK.
"I've been crying all morning — I can't stop," the Sun quoted Hurley, as telling pals.
During the ceremony on March 3, Hurley, encased in a Versace gown designed by pal Donatella Versace, was given away by good pal Sir Elton John, who also performed a personalised version of 'Your Song' for her and Nayar.
The couple spent a day in the UK before leaving for India on Sunday night, where their traditional Hindu marriage ceremony will be taking place.
And while they have decided to hold parties throughout the time they are in Nayar's native country, the main ceremony will be taking place at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Hurley will be wearing a pink sari created by celeb designer Tarun Tahiliani for the traditional ceremony.
And, new hubby Arun had just the perfect gift for his bride, when he presented her with an 8,500 pounds diamond choker that Hurley spotted at posh jewellers Maharani on an earlier visit to Mumbai.
"Arun came back in and wrote out a cheque," a source said.
