A 7.4 magnitude earthquake has been reported in southwestern Pakistan, according to the U.S. Geological Service.
The quake struck 6.2 miles underground and took place 25 miles west of Dalbandin, Pakistan. No injuries were immediately reported.
According to the AP:
The earthquake struck at 1:30 a.m. local time on Wednesday in Baluchistan province near the border with Afghanistan.
Local TV reports said the earthquake was felt in several provinces in the country. The quake could be felt as far away as India and the Gulf.
Reuters reports that the quake did not trigger a tsunami warning for the Indian Ocean.
