The Bargain: by Aly-Ymm


This weekend passed, I was running around like crazy trying to prepare myself for my daughter Dilynn’s 6th birthday party and besides getting the food and beverages, her outfit was my biggest task. In the past I have shopped in all the stores such as GAP, Saks, Neimans, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Macys and etc. to get my children the best outfits but this year I have decided to take advice from friends and family on how to shop. I need to save as much as possible when it comes to clothing and necessities for the kids because they grow so fast.

I researched sales on the web and saw that this store bargains were terrific and had a variety of clothing to search through. Target! A store with not just a bargain but great customer service. After an hour searching for the perfect dress for my Diggy, there it was front and center. She actually chose the dress and I approved of her choice. The dress was $12.99 and looked divine on my little girl. I then searched for shoes that would complete this outfit but I couldn't find what I was looking for so after exhaustion I ended up buying her a pair of D&G jellies from Saks 5th Avenue. Don’t worry they were on sale! I ended up paying $49.99 with additional 20% off. These past few weeks they have been having a wonderful sale and I took advantage of it:).

As parents, I know life can get very overwhelming with our kid’s events, life’s struggles and etc. but I’m here to tell you that overspending is a NO! These are some of the shops you can visit if you need a cute outfit that wont burn a hole in your pocket.
