HAITI NEEDS OUR HELP!

HELP IS NEEDED!!!
Tuesday afternoon, January 12th, the worst earthquake in 200 years - 7.0 in magnitude - struck less than ten miles from the Caribbean city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The initial quake was later followed by twelve aftershocks greater than magnitude 5.0. Structures of all kinds were damaged or collapsed, from shantytown homes to national landmarks. It is still very early in the recovery effort, but millions are likely displaced, and thousands are feared dead as rescue teams from all over the world are now descending on Haiti to help where they are able.

There was a food riot recently because of high food prices & oil prices as well.
There is currently many problems with health and living conditions due to the fact that Haiti is the poorest country in the western world, many lavalas supporteers are rioting because they want preval out of power and aristide back in power, the country has had some stablization in the past 4 years with some improvements to roads.

Ymm is asking if you can help donate any food, money, clothing, prayers or even just TIME to the people of Haiti. Remember just as quick it could be our country in the same state as them. Ymm Promotional Director Bianca Chancy who is of the Haitian nationality will be apart of a food drive taking place in Brooklyn, NY at a church Saturday January 16, 2010. They will be shipping all goods to Haiti every week. Any canned food is welcome. Please contact Bianca through our Ymm facebook page or youngmomsmotion@gmail.com for more information.

We urge you to get out there and help. Please send money. $1.00, $5.00, $10.00. Anything will help. Please help the Haitian community in any way you can. Please, let's come together. Please...May God help us all. You can help through Redcross.com, Salvationarmy.com or even text "YELE" to 501501 on your cell phone and that donates $5.00.

We will keep updating info as we find out more. Thanks for all your help!
